Ogee
The traditional or “Ogee” style of
guttering is one of the most common
systems to be found in Australia. It offers
you an ideal combination of strength and
value for money. It’s low front eliminates
water flow back into the eaves, and
has up to a 30% greater water carrying
capacity than most standard gutters.

Fascia
Alcon Fascia Guttering combines a gutter
and fascia cover in the one system.
It’s ideal for houses with irregular or
untidy roof lines and can cope even
with monsoonal rain conditions. With a
front face of over 20cm it is one of the
deepest gutter systems you can buy.
Installation Requirements
In NSW, all storm water and drainage works must, by law,
comply
with the NSW Code of practice for Plumbing and Drainage.
The Code
requires that all guttering be designed and installed in
accordance with
Australian/New Zealand Standard (AS) 3500.3 sections 3,
4 and part
5. Compliance with this standard will meet the relevant
requirements of
the BCA.
Sufficient overflow measures
must be included in the design and
installation of the guttering system, where a gutter
overflow can cause
water to flow back into a building, including into the
eaves.
